Mentoring for Creative Practitioners

I offer mentoring on a 1:1 basis, for other artists and creative practitioners who are looking to develop their practice in relationship to ecology, place, wellbeing and connected subject areas.

My mentoring/professional development work draws on over 25 years of working as a professional visual artist, including extensive experience in socially engaged practices.

My approach begins with an initial online conversation for me to better understand what you are looking to gain from our work together, and for us to make a plan for the walk and talk(s). This is usually followed by walking, talking and sometimes making together (to document and reflect on the experience) in an agreed location.

I offer different combinations of online and face to face contact, depending on your needs and budget (see the images below for the 3 main options), and with people from a range of artforms and backgrounds.

Please get in touch if you think this might be something you'd be interested in, or if you'd like to know more before making a funding application.

Creative Resources for Learning and Wellbeing

I've developed and designed digital and printed resources for various cultural organisations, to encourage creative engagement by communities with their local environment.

I've included a few examples here (low resolution images for illustration only, download links included where available).

Please contact me to discuss your own needs/ideas.
