Noticing Cornwall

by James on June 2nd, 2014

What is it that makes a place distinctive? What is it that each of us notices, is drawn to? We had a much needed week away in West Cornwall recently, here’s a few photos of things that showed themselves to me, and a couple of pages from my sketchbooks.

  1. Love your work James. I also resonate with the idea of noticing what we notice and what are we drawn to. This was really highlighted to me in a recent life writing workshop. So many connections and different threads weaving together. That’s why keeping a journal/dairy and documenting is a really wonderful thing to do.

    • Thank you Cathryn, I really appreciate your feedback, and very glad that my work strikes a chord with you.
